This year, we are again supporting the fundraising campaign of SOS Balkanroute and are happy to share the call for the kick-off in Vienna

It is a distressing anniversary for all of us. The fifth winter in a row in which we collect clothes and donations in kind for refugees on the Balkan route throughout Austria.
And this year it is once again: Austria is not looking the other way, no! As long as people on our doorstep are freezing, suffering, living in cold tents and experiencing police violence through pushbacks. With 64 aid transports and thousands of tons of relief goods, we have not only been able to set a strong exclamation mark against this inhumane asylum policy in recent years, but above all to help people in a concrete and uncomplicated way in a difficult emergency.
The brutality of Fortress Europe is increasing, the policy ignores human cries for help and so the numbers of victims and deaths are rising - both in the Balkans and on the Mediterranean route.
We are once again countering this with your help and our common solidarity. Every pair of shoes, every warm jacket, every sleeping bag and every mobile phone saves lives - and our human dignity.
We are therefore once again calling for collection campaigns.
