Workshops on violence prevention: Our cooperation partners and experts

Raising awareness and educating within the club

White Ribbon

The White Ribbon Austria campaign aims to help curb everyday violence by men in intimate relationships. To this end, the campaign raises public awareness.

The symbol and logo of the campaign is a white ribbon. The aim is to promote a non-violent image of masculinity and gender democracy. Workshop offering

poika – Association for the promotion of gender-sensitive work with boys in education and teaching

The association was founded because the need for gender-sensitive work with boys* has become increasingly important. The targeted promotion of girls* and TIN children and young people (TIN stands for trans, inter, and non-binary) represents an important step forward in gender equality policy. At the same time, boys* and men* face the challenge of confronting outdated images of masculinity and advancing their own emancipation. Poika offers workshops for children aged 6 and above, seminars and further training, as well as individual counseling.

Selbstlaut – Specialist center against sexual violence against children and young people

The specialist center Selbstlaut is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that works to prevent sexual violence against children and young people by providing counseling and intervention support for adult caregivers. It also offers further training and education for professionals, parents, teams, and institutions.

Together, we work to shape everyday life so that children can grow up as free from fear, violence, and degradation as possible.

In addition, children need age-appropriate information about (sexual) violence, support in expressing their feelings, words for their own bodies, and an environment in which sexuality can be discussed so that they can confide in someone if they experience sexual violence.

Neighborhoods without Partner Violence (StoP)

StoP is a violence prevention project that emphasizes neighborhood participation. StoP's target groups are neighbors and multipliers of all ages, nationalities, genders, and religions. With our women's, men's, and neighborhood round tables, as well as engaging conversations at people's doors and actions in public spaces, StoP aims to reach many people and encourage them to take a stand against domestic violence.

StoP also invites people to participate in various workshops.
