New workshop and training program: "Preventing misanthropic ideologies in sports"

We are expanding our free educational offerings in the area of fairplay prevention.

Misanthropic ideas in the form of hatred and incitement are gaining ground in our society. This does not stop at sport: nationalism, right-wing extremism, and religiously motivated extremism pose challenges for us and for sport. It is important to raise awareness of this and to take a clear stand.

fairplay prevention aims to strengthen and support organized sports in their resilience against politically or religiously motivated extremism.

To achieve this goal, fairplay prevention now offers workshops for children and young people, training courses for adults, and an online course on the topic of Preventing misanthropic ideologies in sports.

Further information about the offers are available here and via the project managers Stefan Belabed (belabed [AT] vidc [DOT] org) and Karim Reuß (reuss [AT] vidc [DOT] org).
