The Sports & Social Inclusion department introduces itself

The work area Sport & Social Inclusion aims to promote the participation of marginalized groups at different levels of sport. On the other hand, it aims to sensitize actors in sports for different social, cultural, linguistic and ethnic backgrounds in club life.

At the national level, fairplay is a member of the Sport & Integration Working Group at the Ministry of Sport, where it works closely with Sport Austria (the Austrian federal sports organization) and the umbrella organizations ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion. Educational offers (workshops, trainings) for children, youth and adults, which combine elements of movement with theory and discussion, can be booked by sports clubs, schools and youth work institutions.

On a European level, fairplay coordinates the SPIN network (Sport Inclusion Network), which has existed since 2010 and is dedicated to the focus areas of science, education and campaign work.
