The work area Sport & Social Inclusion introduces itself

The work area Sport & Social Inclusion wants to promote the participation of marginalized groups at different levels of sport. On the other hand, it aims to sensitize actors in sport to different social, cultural, linguistic and ethnic backgrounds in club life.

At the national level, fairplay is a member of the Sport & Integration working group in the Ministry of Sports, where it works closely with Sport Austria (Austrian Federal Sports Organization) and the umbrella organizations ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion. Educational offers (workshops, training courses) for children, adolescents and adults, which combine exercise elements with theory and discussion, can be booked by sports clubs, schools and youth work institutions.

At the European level, fairplay coordinates the SPIN (Sport Inclusion Network) network, which has existed since 2010 and focuses on science, education and campaigning.
