Work contract: Online monitoring at fairplay prevention - point of contact against dehumanizing ideologies

We offer a work contract for the point of contact against dehumanizing ideologies.

fairplay, the initiative for diversity and anti-discrimination at the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC), has been campaigning for diverse and non-discriminatory sport since 1997. Together with associations, clubs, fan clubs, migrant and youth organisations, measures against discrimination, for diversity, for sustainable development & human rights and against misanthropic ideologies in sport are developed and implemented.

The fairplay team awards a work contract for the work area of the contact point against misanthropic ideologies for the prevention of political and religious extremism in Austrian sport. The focus of the work is on the development and implementation of online monitoring.

The aim of the project is to counteract extremism in the long term and remove its basis - through education and awareness-raising, educational programmes and the reduction of discrimination and the visualisation of extreme devaluation ideologies in Austrian sport, as well as by increasing the resilience of sports clubs and athletes.

Systematic monitoring in the field of combat sports aims to document current developments, activities and structures. Multilingual monitoring also provides a further and deeper insight into relevant scenes in the martial arts landscape.
