Everything will be different in 2025 - but what the Ute Bock Cup stands for will remain the same: “Our solidarity stands against exclusion and agitation fuelled by populist and authoritarian politics - regardless of the government,” emphasize the organisers of the Cup, the Friends of the Friedhofstribüne and the Cup Team 2025. They invite you to the kick-off of the Ute Bock Cup 2025, the charity soccer tournament for refugees, in Hernals on 8 June. Due to construction work, this year's event will not take place at the Wiener Sport-Club stadium, but - just 5 minutes away - at the Postsportplatz. “Despite the stadium renovation, it is all the more important in times like these to carry on Ms. Bock's ideas and goals and to stand together against exclusion and racism.”

PROGRAMME

In addition to the soccer cup, a colorful entertainment and catering program for young and old will accompany the whole day. Oluchukwu, Mekongg, Fargo, Maracatu Renascente and Monkeys of Earth will provide live musical entertainment. Horizon Beats will be on the turntables.
Entertainment for young visitors will take place in the children's tent. And for those who can't make it otherwise: as always, you can also "Haare lassen". The vegetarian food comes from the popular “Cucina Durruti”, the pastries and ice cream from the “Sweet Kitchen” and plenty of cold drinks are available at the various bars.
New this year: a KostNix store with a flea market rounds off the program this year.

Background: Numerous donations and 100% voluntary work

100% of the net proceeds from the Cup go to projects that provide low-threshold, unbiased and independent support in the spirit of Ute Bock. This year, the proceeds will go in equal parts to:

The Cup is organised and implemented exclusively by volunteers. In 2024, over 150 volunteer supporters were involved. The services, food and drinks on offer were mainly donated in kind or time. In 2024, the net proceeds amounted to just under 30.000 euros.
The Ute Bock Cup 2025 is supported by the fairplay small project pool and as part of the “Sport for Global Justice” project.
