The UMDI Tischtenniskultur Wien association is hosting a table tennis doubles tournament on 18 October 2025, starting at 10am, in the 16th district. The tournament will be played according to the rules of social pong, which means fairness at and around the table.
They are expanding the meaning of the term ‘mixed’: ‘We are all different. Being able to encounter each other in our differences is a great asset. We want to defend this freedom with this tournament. Let's play together for what unites us – the desire for equal opportunities, respect and the right to be who we are. Everyone belongs, and that is what makes our community strong.’
This year, there will be two different levels of difficulty: CUP A – Advanced and CUP B – Hobby. Both competitions are limited to 24 teams.
