Girls Football Festival, 23.-25.6.23

Junior girls' teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Austria meet in Vienna to celebrate football, respect and diversity for three days. The Girls Football Festival (GFF) is committed to girls and women in sport, international exchange, against nationalism and for respect and equality. In addition to the host club First Vienna FC 1894 and ASV Draßburg from Burgenland, ZFK Sloga Prijedor, ZFK Spartak Banja Luka (both BiH), ZFK Ilarion Podgorica (MNE) and Red Star Belgrade (SRB) will participate in the 5th edition of the festival!

The programme includes joint training sessions, interactive workshops, a guided treasure hunt through Vienna, side events in Vienna and of course a big final tournament. The football sessions will all take place at the training campus of First Vienna FC 1894 at Spielmanngasse 12, 1220 Vienna.

Planned programme

Friday, 23 June
from 12 noon: Arrival & WELCOME of the teams and distribution of the FESTIVAL PACKAGES
from 14:30: getting to know the players and coaches (Prater)
16:30: Dinner together at the Roller Coaster in Prater

followed by drawing of lots for the training stations, fun games and evening in the Vienna Prater

Saturday, 24 June | 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
from 9 a.m.: joint FOOTBALL TRAINING in mixed teams and lunch
from 2 p.m.: "SCHNITZELJAGD" through the city of Vienna
from 7 pm: joint dinner and PLAYERS PARTY

Sunday, 25 June | 9 am - 1 pm
from 9 a.m.: "GIRLS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL" TURNOUT & winners' ceremony
From 2 p.m.: Lunch, CHILLEN & MICROSOCCER at Strandbar Herrmann (Danube Canal)

The Girls Football Festival takes place within the framework of the UEFA-supported Football Zajedno (Football Together) programme in cooperation with the football associations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro and is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the City of Vienna.
