Girls Football Festival 2023 - Report

The Girls Football Festival 2023 took place from June 23 to 25 and was an absolute highlight of the fairplay season!

Over 80 talented female players, accompanied by 12 coaches and 10 fairplay trainers, from six clubs and four European countries came together to celebrate soccer, diversity and solidarity for 72 hours.

The festival offered a variety of activities, including get-to-know-you games, an exciting freestyle workshop in the Prater and exciting scavenger hunts through the city of Vienna. The players took part in eight workshops and training stations in mixed teams and had the chance to make international friends. Of course, culinary highlights were not to be missed, such as eating 100 pizzas and much more. The festival ended with an international tournament, where the girls could show their skills, afterwards they chilled at the Danube Canal.

For the teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sloga Prijedor, Spartak Banja Luka), Serbia (Crvena Zvezda Beograd), Montenegro (Ilarion Podgorica) and Austria (ASV Draßburg, First Vienna FC) it was three unforgettable days full of fun and the created memories will surely stay forever.
