fairplay action weeks 2023 – We say THANK YOU!

Three weeks full of action. Around 100 clubs took part!

It's done! The 2023 Action Weeks under the motto Against Hate and Agitation - For Diversity in Sport are history. For the second time in 2023, the focus was on campaigning against extremism in sport and in favour of a diverse and open society. This year, for the first time, there was also an extension to martial arts. Our social media channels were ablaze for three weeks: around 80 clubs, fans and athletes took part in online and offline campaigns. Numerous videos, photos and stadium campaigns sent a clear message against misanthropic ideologies.

So it's time to say THANK YOU - for the fact that so many clubs once again took part in the fairplay action weeks for diversity in sport. For standing up so strongly against hatred and hate speech. For the fact that together we have made a difference and will continue to do so.

The activities are coordinated by the fairplay initiative for diversity and anti-discrimination. The ÖFB and the Austrian Football League support the campaign, which is made possible by the City of Vienna - Bewegung findet Stadt, the Austrian Ministry of Sport and the European Commission (Erasmus+).
