ballesterer #200 – Faith in the game

The 200th anniversary edition of ballesterer takes you on a journey through the shared history of sport and faith, from muscle-bound Jews and headscarf bans to the god of soccer. There are reports on an evangelical club in a Rio de Janeiro favela and the research conducted by theologian Hans-Ulrich Probst in the fan block of Stuttgart Kickers. ballesterer is celebrating its special anniversary year in the best of company, namely with Herbert Prohaska. And the anniversary edition would not be complete without several mentions of Reinhard Krennhuber. After all, without the founder of ballesterer, issue #1 of the magazine would not have been published 25 years ago.
