ballesterer #168 - THE VILLAGE LEAGUE football in the 2000s

The new ballesterer issue is here and deals with the rise and fall of the village clubs.

ballesterer #168 is dedicated to the decade of village clubs. In the 2000s, clubs from villages and small towns sensed their big chance. For most of them, however, the adventure of professional soccer ended in disaster. In this issue, you can also read about the reform plans in England, an interview with political scientist Peter Filzmaier and an outlook on the World Cup play-off in Europe.

In this issue, you will also find a review of the Africa Cup by our division manager Kurt Wachter. You can read the full text online on our website.
